How to obtain Portuguese nationality
In these cases, the acquisition of nationality always depends on a decision of the Minister of Justice.
You can apply for Portuguese nationality under these conditions if:
is over 18 years old or is emancipated according to Portuguese law
is a descendant of Portuguese Sephardic Jews
belongs to a Sephardic community of Portuguese origin.

have been sentenced for a crime that in Portugal is punishable by a term of imprisonment of 3 years or more
involved in terrorism-related activities
TO REQUEST PORTUGUESE NATIONALITY YOU WILL NEED TO SUBMIT THE FOLLOWING DOCUMENTS.
Your legalized birth certificate:
if possible, in full copy and issued by photocopy
if the certificate is foreign, legalization must be done through an apostille or visa from the Portuguese consulate
if the certificate is not in Portuguese, you must also bring the certificate translated into Portuguese and certified.
The certificate may be waived if the birth is registered in a Portuguese civil registry office and the conservatory is identified, the year and the registration number.
The criminal record:
issued by the foreign countries where he / she has lived from the age of 16 and his / her translation certified into Portuguese.
A certificate passed by a Jewish community in Portugal:
