Conditions for obtaining Portuguese Nationality:

  • Age over 18 years or emancipation under Portuguese law
  • Descending from Portuguese Sephardic Jews

To Obtain Portuguese Nationality, you cannot:

  • Have been convicted of a crime punishable by a sentence of 3 years or more

  3. A request addressed to the Minister of Justice stating some facts that support that you belong to a Sephardic community of Portuguese origin.
